According to the calendar - Spring 2013 has officially launched itself …
there is a change of season whispering promises of hope; a new season encroaching on the old, and although the old season wishes to linger, its
time is nearly up.
complete with three-year-old selective hearing.As his vocab grows, the more insight we have to how he views and understands our world – which at times can be funny but can also be just plain embarrassing ;)
He has had a visit with his mom…and we hope that she grabs hold of this
second-chance with both hands for both her sake and his.

Amazing how something as simple as a favourite tv program is
lengthening his attention span and also teaching him what his boundaries
are.
We are still blown away when he mimics sounds and pitches with
uncanny accuracy…we are also blown away by the
sight of our baby attempting to dance :)
but it is the lack of this ability that makes Mr.Kuhle an original!
He has of late been giving his Nana new grey hairs by deciding
that he prefers to not sleep through the night
anymore…
and we are hoping that he will not continue that for much longer.
And it once again drives home the fact that without love and the
proper nutrition a child will not and cannot thrive.
Our Home exists to give babies a stability that will influence
their future ability of living a well-rounded life.
Our youngest is still having separation anxiety but he is used to
the Home’s routines now and spends most of his days in
a happy, smiley and gurgley state :)
Hope Harbour is averaging 30 nappies a day now, most of them for
Bussanathi, which makes nappies one of our highest expenses.
Also, a big thank you to all our precious doners : those that offer rent, cash, groceries, prayer and emotional support. We could not have made it this far without you.
