FRESH START
Another big HELLO to our extended family of sponsors, supporters and prayer-warriors !
Once again we shout a heart-felt THANK YOU for we could not do this ministry without you :)
New Years’ is traditionally a season of reflection and resolutions . . . a time of “putting straight” and “in order” what has gone astray or become blurred.
The original vision for Hope Harbour was to be a safe-house for infants and we are re-embracing that vision.
This means that our older children will be moving on.
Yes, a difficult time may lie ahead – a time of transition and leaving behind the familiar to walk into the unknown.
But we step forward confident that God’s Hand will continually be upon them :)
He will be faithful as we each step into His unique plans and purposes for our individual lives.
We will hold tightly to our Father’s Hand - for we know that this is where our strength lies :)
January has been a busy month :)
We are currently nursing the children through a bout of summer flu.
Princess Simbo celebrated her 3rd birthday – all grown-up !
Baby Isaac has two teeth now, has started eating solids…and has added a few new healthy fat-rolls since our last
newsletter!
And we have been blessed with our first box of Easter eggs for 2013 ;)
We would like to extend a special thank you to Vivine Cameron - a volunteer from the UK who has spent numerous hours updating Hope Harbour’s administration, as well as training our staff.
Again, we are so grateful for all the donations we have received this month – BIG and small!
Mandy Elliott and Shelly Glutz from Rhema hosted the South Coast Charity Cup as 2012 was drawing to a close. Hope Harbour was one of the charities that benefited immensely from this annual golf-day.
A big thank-you for the giant cheque ;) and thank-you to everyone for
each bag of groceries,
each banana,
all the clothes,
each hour you spend here
and every single rand you give…
May each one of you witness God’s increase in your lives as a direct response to the seeds you have sown into Hope Harbour. And may His Name be glorified in the process.
BLESSINGS :)
