Hello to our friends and family!
Hope Harbour as a baby home will be functioning independently for a few months until we find our feet on new ground. We are in the interim of leaving behind the old and grabbing hold of the new.
What this means [practically] is that Nana and Oupa are renting a flat in Uvongo and are still looking after three of the children - Lonwaba (aka Wobbles), Kuhle and Amanda.
Laying aside all pretense, this also means that in this interim we are needing financial backup as we are no longer supported by our original Hope Harbour doners. But every end truly is a new beginning!! And we are thankful to each and every person who supported us in any way and at any time :)
Mr Wobbles :) Our naughty ray of sunshine!
Our now-four-year-old is growing up to be a big boy. It’s not always the start you get in life that counts, but rather the genuine help you got along life’s journey that will determine your success or failure.

Mr Bussanathi :)
He has found his Forever Family!
Bussa was fostered by a new family with children close to his own age.
We celebrate the new start he was handed even though it would have been overwhelming in the beginning.
No matter how life seems to us right now, we never know where each twist and turn will eventually lead…

Our mischievous Mr Kuhle (a.k.a Kushie) :)
Always walking to his own drum-beat and his own unique rhythm!
Our blessed boy continues to face life at his own pace and in his own way… and just as we like to keep our uniqueness, so too do we wish Kush continue to be himself in a world that sometimes tries to make us all the same…

Gentle – Giant Mr Anele :)
He just keeps on growing!
And is such a loveable, cuddly happy boy… he has moments where life gets too much (and forces the release of pain out through your tearducts in the form of tears…)
But Anele has an inner glimmer of joy that has not diminished as he’s got older :) (Mr Anele has been reunited with his dad's family...and we hope that he will bring them as much joy as he brought us)

And last but definitely not least… is our ‘no-more baby’ Miss Amanda :)
Our little girl looks just like her mother and now sports her very first tooth. We hope mom and daughter will be reunited soon, for her mom’s sake, for a heart that has been kept from hope for too long always reaches a day it stops beating… keep them both in your prayers
